Flu.
If hate is too strong a word, then I abhor flu.
The thing about flu is, you're just extremely tired the first day, with a little bit of a runny nose.
And then you'll be sleeping the whole day, because the entire virus-fighting activity is using up all your energy.
And that's okay, you know. I'm fine with that.
But then what happens when the night comes? Your head aches but you can't sleep. Not because you've slept practically the entire day, but because you have a nose block. Dammit.
And guess what? The only way to get rid of it is by sitting up. Now I need you to tell me something. How the heck do I sleep sitting up?
Almost everyone around me is infected; or has been infected. Why do I have to get it too?
Someone please get me sleeping pills... ggrrrhh..
